A new Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 75 press for the Belz printing plant in Vendée

The Belz printing works in La Roche-sur-Yon is modernizing its workshop with the installation of a Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 75 4-color press. This investment replaces two older presses, improving energy efficiency and reducing paper waste. Combining family know-how with a commitment to eco-responsibility, the print shop continues to meet the needs of a diverse customer base.

Printing house Belz, based in La Roche-sur-Yon for four generations, has made a strategic choice in renewing its press fleet. Faced with changes in the industry and growing pressure on sustainability, the company opted for the Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 75. This new compact, energy-efficient press replaces two aging pieces of equipment, giving the workshop greater flexibility while optimizing production costs.

The Speedmaster CX 75 stands out for its versatility. Inspired by the technology of the Speedmaster XL 75, it is capable of printing on a wide variety of substrates and weights, while maintaining impeccable quality. This flexibility is essential for Belz, which works for a wide range of customers including agencies, industries, cultural institutions and local authorities.

One of the key features of this press is process automation thanks to Push to Stop technology. This system enables virtually autonomous production, where job changes are managed automatically via the Intellistart 3 assistant. The result is a significant reduction in downtime between jobs, and an immediate gain in productivity.

Committed to sustainable development, Belz has chosen a press that limits its environmental impact. The Speedmaster CX 75 uses vegetable-based inks, with no petroleum derivatives, and operates without alcohol in its printing processes.
