Jaipur-based MG Digital Press is the new digital printing division of Anna Creation and Print Tech Inc. The start-up has been equipped with a RICOH Pro C7500, an advanced 11-color digital production press supplied and installed by Monotech Systems Limited, a global leader in printing and packaging solutions.
Founded in 2006, Anna Creation is a prominent offset printing company in Jaipur. Meanwhile, Print Tech Inc, established in 2010, specializes in pre-press processing for local printing companies. “Anna Creation is managed by my partner Gautam Chaturvedi, while I oversee Print Tech Inc,” says Manoj Kumar Jangid, Proprietor of Print Tech Inc.
Manoj Kumar Jangid says, “Alongside our work with Anna Creation and Print Tech Inc in offset and pre-press processing, we decided to enter digital printing to explore new opportunities. To ensure we’re fully equipped, we chose the RICOH Pro C7500, an upgraded model recently launched in India by Monotech Systems.”
The RICOH Pro C7500, introduced in late 2023, builds on the success of the RICOH Pro C7200 with improved performance, media handling, and automation. Manoj highlights that this advanced digital press is ideal for producing unique applications with additional textures and colors.
He notes, “Digital presses now offer high-degree bespoke printing, allowing for personalized, on-demand products. The RICOH Pro C7500’s Fifth Color Station is key for adding special effects, including neon yellow, neon pink, clear, gold, silver, and invisible red, to our prints.”
Equipped with a team of 10 skilled professionals, MG Digital Press aims to expand its digital printing capabilities using the RICOH Pro C7500. This machine operates at speeds of up to 85ppm and delivers high-resolution prints (2400×4800dpi) on media from 40gsm to 470gsm. Manoj concludes that MG Digital Press is poised to make significant strides in digital printing with the support of the RICOH Pro C7500 and Monotech Systems.
